My name is Ryan Guido. I am 22 years old and have completed a BSc
in computer science at York University. I have had a passion for computing
and software development for a long time now, which is what motivated
me to pursue a computer science degree. I love to learn and create new things. My hobbies include watching movies and TV shows, sports, photography (check out the Guido Media tab to see my work), video editing, reading, podcasting, and writing about sports (namely film and Boxing). -Explored the various technologies and practices found in the Institutional Client Group at Citi
-Trained and worked with fellow interns on weekly sprints focused on different avenues of technology. These included data analysis, UI/UX practices, computer security, and software development. Each sprint was then completed with a presentation of a final product

An e-commerce full-stack application to sell books. It features a modern and appealing UI for browsing books, adding reviews, and registering/logging in. Contains cart and payment page to place orders, and an admin dashboard to monitor book sales. Finally, a REST API for generating book or order information.

DEM Smart


A smart home feature for people suffering from dementia. Utilizing the Google Calendar API and the Bose Sound touch Control API, a user (specifically family member) can set and trigger specific reminders for various situations throughout a day. The reminder can be recorded by the family member and would then be spoken to the person (through the Bose SoundTouch 10 system) in need during the event.

ClubHub


ClubHub is a re-envisioned version of the current York University club website. Users can discover which clubs exist using the search engine or viewing the previously loaded list provided. Users can then read information regarding the club and add its event information to their Google Calendar if they choose

Lumos App


A simple flashlight app originally made in 2017 but updated in 2018. It is Harry Potter themed (ergo the use of "lumos" to light up the tip of the wand.) An image of a wand is clicked to turn on the flashlight. This image is then updated on the device to show the wand is lit up as well.
